India's first airshed-based air quality management program — driving clean energy transitions across transport, clean cooking, agriculture & livestock, industry, waste management, and road dust control to bring cleaner, breathable air to 270 million people in the Indo-Gangetic Plains.

Strengthening State Capabilities for Air Quality Management
Building a robust Decision Support System with 193 CAAQMS stations, 3 supersites, 15 Regional Knowledge Centres, and an Air Pollution Early Warning System across Uttar Pradesh.

Advancing Sector Interventions for Emissions Reduction
Targeted interventions across clean cooking (39.2L households), transport (500 E-buses, 15,000 E-3Ws), industry (780 brick kilns), agriculture (48,000 Ha), waste and dust management.

Enabling IGP Airshed Cooperation
Inter-state workshops, airshed-based air quality management advocacy, cross-border collaboration, and joint monitoring of transboundary air pollution in the Indo-Gangetic Plains.
